SharpShooters USA is a shooting range, training center and retail store located in Roswell, GA. The modern facility is expansive and well laid out. Opened in 2011, this business is one of the premier services offered in Atlanta when it comes to gun shooting. They not only offer high-quality training for customers but also provide gun education and enjoyment. There are over 20 shooting lanes here and some of the best technology available. Their equipment is from Action Target and thus, increases the efficiency of tactical training. You can choose between private and joined classes here too.

The third Wednesday of every month features Lady Sharp Shooters, a group of women shooting enthusiasts who discuss proper gun ownership, issues and…here’s the best part…practice their shooting skills. Lady Sharp Shooters invited me to sit in on their monthly meeting (third Wednesday of each month) and join these lovely ladies on the shooting range. Eek! You can also receive passes from angles instead of straight on. At the end of the day, the activity is used to improve your quick release & reaction time! If you do not have access to the self passing device or the boards are poor, you can always use tennis balls on ice. On-Ice: You can use the boards to bounce the puck off to you, or an elastic /rubber self passing device.You still face forward, but before you shoot, you can backhand a pass so it hit the wall and deflects forward to you. Off-Ice: Use a tennis ball with a wall behind you.If you do not have a player or a coach to pass the puck to you, you can still work on this by yourself. Player uses reaction time to work on a quick shot.Coach (or another player) places puck in random location (different sides of body, in skates, in tight, out wide, etc).Progression # 3: No Look & Random Puck Placement Shooting player faces net and looks forward.Player uses reaction time to work on a quick one-touch shot.Coach (or another player) passes puck to backhand of the shooters stick.Shooting player faces net but looks back at passer.Below we dive into the setup, coaching points and how it can be practiced on and off of the ice.
